Asset management

Lewes District Council and Eastbourne Borough Council own different type of properties across both authorities. It includes office buildings, commercial, industrial, retail, community centres, tourist attractions, recreation areas, theatres and leisure centres representing the diversity of our communities.

The Property and Facilities team are responsible for managing these buildings. How we intend to manage our buildings for the next three years is explained in the Corporate Asset Management Plan below.

Asset Lists

You can download lists of both local authorities' land and property assets from our Open Data page. The following details are included for each asset:

  • asset number

  • address

  • map reference

  • tenure detail and user group

Certain asset groups are excluded from the list. For more information relating to publishing local authority data visit the Local Government Transparency Code 2015.
