Lewes District Council is undertaking a review of the polling districts and polling places in its area.
A polling district is the geographical sub-division of an electoral area. Neither the parliamentary constituency boundary nor the local government ward or division boundaries may be changed by this review.
A polling place is the building or area in which polling stations are located.
We have prepared draft proposals which are available to download below.
Any elector within the Lewes Parliamentary Constituency may make representations on the current arrangements and draft proposals. Representations are welcomed from individuals or groups with interest or expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for people with any type of disability. Anyone making a representation should, where appropriate, suggest alternative locations that could be used as polling places.
All representations are required by law to be published. If you do not want your representation attributed to you, please let us know via the contact details below.
