Eastbourne Borough Council is lighting up the Town Hall clock red to mark International Dark Sky Week from April 15 to 22.
During the week, people are encouraged to switch off unnecessary lights and observe the wonder of the night sky without light pollution.
In 2016, the South Downs National Park became an International Dark Sky Reserve, the second of its kind in England and one of only 16 in the world.
