If you would like to change from voting in person to voting by post or by proxy, you will need to complete an application form and return it to Electoral Services.
Postal Vote Application
Go to the Your Vote Matters website to download a postal vote application form.
- The deadline for receiving postal vote applications for the elections on the 2 May 2019 is 5pm on Monday, 15 April 2019
- Your postal ballot papers will be sent to you in the post about 10 days before the election
Proxy Vote Application
Go to the Your Vote Matters website to download a proxy vote application form and appoint someone else to vote on your behalf.
- The deadline for receiving proxy vote applications for the elections on the 2 May 2019 is 5pm on Wednesday, 24 April 2019 (unless you currently have a postal vote in place)
- If you currently have a postal vote in place you will need to return your proxy vote application by 5pm on Monday, 15 April 2019
