Nature events on our reserves

Join our nature reserves team and the local groups and experts who care for these special places to enjoy and learn a little more about the nature in our districts.

Landport Bottom Beauties

Free guided walk on Friday 5th July 5-7pm

Join us for an early evening walk round this lovely recovering chalk grassland to learn more about the myriad of insect and associated plant life with our Ranger.

Meet at 5pm at the gate at the bottom of the Motor Road off Nevill Road, Lewes BN7 1QH.

Free event but donations to the Friends of Landport Bottom welcome. Short walk with many stops but some steep hills. Wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothing. No toilets or parking on site available.

Brickfields Nature

Fun picnic – Friday 26th July 11-2pm

A day of family-filled nature fun with activities including treasure hunt, skittle, painting and much more.

Free event but donations to the Friends of Brickfields welcome. Wear outdoor clothing as all will be on the reserve. No toilets or parking on site available.

20th Anniversary Nature Celebration of the Castle Hill Group

Celebrating 20 years of the group with a theme of 20 running through the nature activities.  Further details to follow.
