One night of searching for our aerodynamic and magnificent insect-eating bats at different sites across the District – we are hoping to include (depending on bat leads and public interest) the following public sites – please get in touch to confirm interest in coming along and to which site at Rangers@Lewes-Eastbourne.gov.uk.
The evening will involve a simple transect walk for 1-1.5hrs using hand-held bat detectors (provided) to hear any bats.
Please wear sturdy shoes and suitable clothes for the evening weather. Please bring a head torch or small hand held torch as it will dusk / dark. If you have a bat detector do bring it along.
Please note the event will be cancelled if wet or windy.
