The Annual Canvass is underway and residents need to complete the form when it arrives.
Not only is completing the form a legal requirement, people that are not listed on it will not be included on the Electoral Register and could be refused credit, such as mortgages and car loans.
Every home in the town will receive a form.
You need to confirm the details on the form are correct, add anyone new, including those aged 16 or 17, and delete anyone no longer at the address.
Responses must be received by Lewes District Council even if there are no changes on the form.
It is very easy to respond.
You can text or call to confirm no changes or if there are, go online or return the form by post.
