The Chair of Lewes District Council, Councillor Adrian Ross will attend a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II organised by Lewes Town Council.
The service will take place at St Anne's Church, the Parish Church of Lewes, Western Road at 6:30pm on Sunday 18 September.
The service is open to the public.
As part of a National Moment of Reflection, a one-minute silence to remember the life of Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II will also be observed across the UK at 8:00pm on Sunday 18 September.
The National Moment of Reflection is personal to every individual, but it is likely that many residents will step outside their homes just before 8pm to observe a doorstep tribute.
