Notice of service disruption

Disruption to planning applications, local land charges and building control services for the Lewes district

From 27 June to 21 August 2022 we are carrying out significant upgrades to the planning application, local land charges and building control systems for the Lewes district.

During this time, there may be a delay in responding to customers’ requests and enquiries.

The consultation period for commenting on any open planning applications will be extended to take this disruption into account.

Service downtime

We are working hard to limit any disruption to our online systems and services for customers. However, you can read the details and dates of when these online services will be unavailable, below:

Monday 27 June to Friday 01 July

Our online customer portal for Lewes district planning applications, Public Access will be available for customers to look up planning applications but it will not be possible to submit comments via the system.

Monday 04 July to Friday 08 July

Our online customer portal for Lewes district planning applications, Public Access will be offline and not available during this time.

Monday 25 July to Friday 29 July

Our online customer portal for Lewes district planning applications, Public Access will be offline and not available during this time.
