Housing Benefit Award Accuracy Initiative

Housing Benefit Award Accuracy (HBAA) Initiative is a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) initiative to improve the accuracy of housing benefit payments.

For the year 2025/2026, DWP have requested we review all Pension age Housing Benefit claims that are not in receipt of Pension Credit.

What is required from you

If you have received a letter regarding your Housing Benefit claim and a request for this to be either confirmed as accurate, or you need to inform us of any changes, please visit the appropriate link below.

Please remember if only your capital has changed, but the total amount for this is still below £10,000, you need to complete the no changes form.

You will need your Housing Benefit claim number and your Property Reference Number. Both are included on the letter you have received.
