Please note - UK Government introduced 'Simpler Recycling' legistlation from 1 April 2026. Our services are already compliant with these rules and there will be no changes to your collections as a result.
Alternate weekly collections coming to Lewes district
From week commencing Monday 9 February 2026, Lewes District Council changed to fortnightly refuse (black sack waste) collections, to increase household recycling in the district.
