We are inviting comments on our updated policy that sets out how Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Council manages complaints. The consultation will run from Friday 9 August to Friday 20 September 2024 at 5pm.

We have launched a consultation to seek feedback from local residents, businesses and other stakeholders on new planning approaches to address concerns around Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) in Eastbourne.

We are asking for your help to create a vision for Eastbourne seafront for the next 25 years. This will become a plan for our seafront that you want you to be part of. We want a vision that will help revitalise the town have a lasting positive impact on the environment and wellbeing of local people now and for future generations.

Eastbourne Borough Council is considering changing its Council Tax Reduction scheme to provide more support for people on a low income. We are inviting feedback on the proposals from Monday 8 July to Monday 30 September at 5pm.

Tomorrow's Tourism carried out a study to find out what the demand is for tourist accommodation in Eastbourne now and into the future. Local business and organisations that with an interest in the visitor economy in the town were invited to contribute to the study by completing an online survey by 30 April 2024.
