We have been asking what is most important to local people about Eastbourne seafront, including what they would like to see change or stay the same over the next 25 years. We are using this to create a vision that will help revitalise the town have a lasting positive impact on the environment and wellbeing of local people now and for future generations.

From Friday 21 March to Friday 16 May 2025, we invited feedback on the draft Lewes District Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP).

From Friday 21 February to Friday 4 April 2025 we consulted over proposals for a new parking permit scheme for Eastbourne. The consultation has now closed and the consultation report is now available to download.

From Friday 14 March to Friday 25th April 2025 we invited submissions for consideration on the 'Call for Sites' and Methodology.

From Friday 28th February to Friday 25th April 2025 invited views on two Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs). The first relates to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) and the other to Tourist Accommodation Retention.

We are invited Lewes district residents to give their views on home improvements that could either save money on energy bills or help improve the environment.

From Monday 24 February 2025 to Friday 18 April 2025 we invited feedback on our housing allocations proposals. This consultation has now closed and a report giving a summary of findings will be published on this page soon.
