Take wood and coal to an East Sussex County Council run Household Waste and Recycling Site

Purchase a home composting bin. There are various types available through East Sussex County Council or online and in garden centres.

Yes, only wood or coal ash from your indoor domestic fireplace.

Tip:  Double bag ash to prevent it flying around when your bin is emptied.
