Following an initial workshop, participants will receive tailored support, including one-to-one mentoring, to assist them in developing a strong business plan. The programme culminates with the opportunity for one candidate who completes the best business plan to win a £500 grant.

Councillor Colin Swansborough, Cabinet Member for Enterprise, said: "This is a brilliant, free initiative delivered by experts to support the growth of new local businesses in our town.

"The LEAP programme offers expert guidance and resources to help turn innovative ideas into thriving local enterprises - sign up now and reap the benefits."

Eligibility for the LEAP programme extends to any Eastbourne resident contemplating starting their own business, as well as business owners within the town who have been trading for less than a year.

The LEAP programme is delivered by the not-for-profit organisation Edeal.
