Notice of delayed publication of the Draft 2024/25 Statement of Accounts

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the Council has not been able to publish the Draft Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 by the 30 June 2025 statutory deadline, to commence the 30-day period for the Exercise of Public Rights.

The delay in publishing the Draft Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 is due to timelines arising from publishing in sequence prior year accounts and their subsequent audits.

The Council's draft accounts for 2024/25 will be published as soon as reasonably practicable.

A further notice will be published in due course setting out the public inspection period as soon as the draft 2024/25 Statement of Accounts have been finalised.
