Eastbourne Local Plan consultation goes live

Event dates announced alongside virtual exhibition.

Eastbourne Local Plan Virtual Exhibition

Eastbourne Local Plan Virtual Exhibition
Eastbourne Borough Council has announced a series of consultation events where residents can share their views on the draft Local Plan.

The Local Plan sets out where new homes, employment space and community facilities could be located, as well as the infrastructure needed to support them.

Residents, businesses and community organisations are encouraged to take part. Feedback gathered during this consultation will play a crucial role in shaping the final version of the plan and help guide how Eastbourne develops in the years ahead.Councillor Colin Swansborough, Cabinet Member for Regulatory Services, said:

"Eastbourne is at a defining point in its future.

"Our Local Plan will shape how the town develops, how we safeguard the qualities that make it unique, and how we open up new possibilities for the generations that follow.

"It's vital that residents share their views so we can clearly demonstrate to the government's planning inspector what the plan should contain, and what it shouldn't."

A virtual exhibition, which displays the same information at the in-person events, is also available online:
