Disposable lighters

The Safety-First Step: Is It Empty

Before you do anything, the lighter must be completely empty. A lighter with even a tiny bit of butane left is a fire hazard.
Check the flame: Try to light it. If it won't produce a flame even after multiple strikes, it is likely safe for the next step.

Reduce

Making the switch to Electric (Plasma) Lighters, this is the most Eco-friendly solution, instead of flames these lighters use electric to create a high-voltage plasma arc.

Reuse

By using refillable lighters like Zippo and Colibri Lighters reduces the need to dispose of them regularly.
