Community and Social Cohesion Grants Programme

Lewes District Council is offering one-off grants to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations in the Lewes district, particularly the coastal strip.

Local people should feel connected, respected, included and able to participate in local life. This programme will support projects and events that will help to create safe, resilient and thriving communities through activities which bring people together, reduce community tensions and build trust between different groups.

Grants of between £500 and £10,000 are available for community based activities and longer-term projects created to strengthen community connections, support wellbeing and build resilience.
