If securing permission for your project will not be straight forward, especially if it will require the interpretation of planning policy and local development plans, it is recommended that you engage a planning consultant.
If you do engage a planning consultant, it is recommended that they are a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). A planning consultant or other planning and building professionals can be located via the Planning Portal.
