Coach parking is available in both Lewes and Eastbourne at specific sites.

Coach parking - Lewes District Council

North Street

In Lewes, touring coaches are welcome to park in the indicated parking bays in our car park in Spring Gardens, Lewes, BN7 3PS

  • Three long stay coach bays available free of charge
  • 5 minute walk from the town centre

Permitted coach drop off and pick up points 

Permitted drop off and pick up points in Lewes can be found in the following locations:

Friars Walk

  • At the bus stop (opposite Natwest Bank) for a maximum 10 minute stay.

Phoenix Causeway

  •  At the bus stop on the eastern approach of Phoenix Causeway to the town for a maximum 10 minute stay.

Southover High Street

  • On the single yellow line outside Anne of Cleves House, 52 Southover High Street, Lewes, BN7 1JA for a maximum 10 minutes waiting time. We advise drivers to approach from the west to minimise risk to passengers and traffic congestion

Coach parking - Eastbourne Borough Council

In Eastbourne, coaches are welcome to park at the Stagecoach depot, Birch Road, Eastbourne, BN23 6PD.

Pay and display coach parking spaces are also available at Junction Road coach station, Eastbourne, BN21 3QZ. Charges apply every day including bank holidays:

  • Up to one hour: £2
  • Up to four hours: £5
  • Up to ten hours: £15 

Coach pick up and drop off point during Airbourne Airshow

During the Airbourne Airshow weekend each August coaches, will need to apply for a free pier head permit to drop off and pick up passengers. You can apply by downloading the application below in PDF format.
