How to get involved - video guide

Getting involved is a great way to make a difference where you live. By sharing your views, you can help improve your neighbourhood and the housing services you use. 

There are lots of ways to get involved. You can take part online, join events, or work with us to improve services. You can give a little time or more if you want to. Every bit of feedback helps us understand what matters to you and what we can do better. 

Tenants have already helped improve their communities and the way services are delivered. You can be part of that too.

Co‑Design

Co-Design workshops let tenants and staff work together to improve policies and services. These short sessions look at what happens now and what could work better. Your experience helps us design services around real tenant needs.

Communications Panel

Our Communications Panel helps us improve our publications, such as Tenants Open Voice and our Annual Reports. By joining, you can tell us what is clear and what could be easier to understand. This helps us make our information clearer, friendlier and more useful for tenants.

LET (Listening to Eastbourne Tenants)

LET represents tenants of Eastbourne Borough Council and helps shape local housing services. Members work with council officers, councillors and specialist teams to share tenants' views, raise issues and improve services. LET also helps manage a community improvement budget. Members review funding applications and make sure money supports projects that benefit residents.

Residents' Voice

Eastbourne Residents' Voice meetings are held in person twice a year in Eastbourne. They give tenants a clear place to raise concerns and hear updates. What you tell us often leads to action plans and service improvements.

Retirement Housing Forum

The Retirement Housing Forum is for tenants who live in retirement housing. It gives residents a place to talk about issues, share views and suggest improvements. We use this feedback to help improve services and keep tenants updated..

Scrutiny

Our Scrutiny programme looks closely at one or two topics each year, such as damp and mould, repairs or complaints. Tenants work with us to check what is working and what needs to change. The review ends with clear recommendations to help improve standards and accountability.

Spot and Solve

Spot and Solve is a practical activity in your local area. Tenants and housing staff walk around the estate together to spot issues such as repairs, grounds maintenance and safety concerns. We agree what needs doing and may be able to sort out some issues straight away.

Tenant Connect

Tenant Connect is a quick, interactive session where you can speak to officers, contractors and specialist teams. You can ask questions, talk about what matters to you and help improve services such as repairs, customer service and neighbourhood management. It suits tenants who prefer informal, conversation-style sessions.

The Youth Network

The Youth Network is for young people aged 14 to 19. It gives you a chance to share your views about your community and what should improve. If you care about local spaces, safety, activities for young people or community events, we would like to hear from you.

TOLD (Tenants of Lewes District)

TOLD represents tenants of Lewes District Council and helps shape local housing services. Members work with council officers, councillors and specialist teams to share tenants' views, raise issues and improve services. TOLD also helps manage a community improvement budget. Virtual 360

Virtual 360 is an online way for tenants to share feedback quickly. We send short polls and surveys so you can tell us what matters most in your home and neighbourhood. You do not need to attend meetings, so it is ideal if you are busy or prefer to take part online.
