Fuel voucher scheme

Latest update

This scheme is no longer running. We will update this page if more funding becomes available.

Your Energy Sussex were working with Citizens Advice to help vulnerable residents struggling to meet their fuel costs.

The council-backed energy supplier used money from its fuel poverty fund to make emergency fuel vouchers available to qualifying households in Sussex.

The vouchers (£28 for a single person and £49 for a family) were for vulnerable residents (ie. due to age or a health condition) on limited incomes or means-tested benefits and facing difficult financial circumstances and with a pre-payment meter.

Referrals for the vouchers were available from Citizens Advice in Lewes district and Eastbourne.
